Moldova, Bulgaria to sign new cooperation agreement

Chisinau, Feb. 7 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan government will negotiate with the Bulgarian government a development cooperation agreement. The members of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy and European Integration approved the advisory opinion for the initiation of the process.
Moldova will cooperate with Bulgaria in several fields, including trade and economy, increasing resource efficiency and reducing energy vulnerability, employment and social policies, internal affairs.
The agreement sees that the goods and services procured or imported into the Republic of Moldova in the context of the implementation of assistance programs and projects will be exempt from the payment of taxes and fees applied in accordance with national legislation.
The agreement is to be concluded for an unlimited period.
Currently, the Republic of Moldova has concluded similar agreements with the governments of the Czech Republic, Germany and Sweden.
