Over 1,000 graduates of Nicolae Testemitanu Medical University of Moldova to take oath of physician, pharmacist

Chisinau, 11 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) will hold the Ceremony on the taking of Oath of Physician and Pharmacist for the 2024 Series of Graduates.

The event will take place at the Chisinau Arena (Orhei Highway Street 130) on 12 June at 11:00. Attending the event will be President Maia Sandu, Health Minister Ala Nemerenco, representatives of the diplomatic missions from Chisinau, the USMF administration, professors, students, parents and friends.

As many as 1,025 graduates will take the solemn oath this year: 604 natives ones and 421 – foreign citizens from 13 countries. A number of 746 graduates finished the syllabus of integrated education in medicine, 152 – stomatology, 48 – pharmacy and 7 – in preventive medicine. At the same, 14 graduates finished the degree syllabi in public health, 11 - general medical assistance, 10 – optometry and 7 – radiological technology.

Another 30 people finished the master education at the programmes: human nutrition – 16, public mental health – 11 and clinic optometry – 3.

The ceremony will be held in the Romanian and English languages.
