General staff officers from 14 countries attend regional exercise Regex 2024

Chisinau, July 5 /MOLDPRES/- Over 30 staff officers from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tunisia, Tunisia, Malta, the African Union (Ghana and Benin), as well as staff officers from the National Army will participate in the fourth workshop of the regional staff exercise Regex 2024 on July 8-19.

According to the superior of the exercise, Vladimir Covalenco, the purpose of the activity is to train the military according to Western standards for planning and conducting exercises, crisis management, strengthening and assessing the level of interoperability of forces in a multinational environment.

The exercise Regex 24 is taking place in accordance with the National Army's combat training plan for this year and the external activities plan of the Ministry of Defense and the National Army for 2024.
