Moldova to benefit from financial assistance from Government of Canada

Chisinau, July 8 /MOLDPRES/- Moldova could benefit from a loan of 120 million Canadian dollars from the Canadian government. Members of the parliamentary committee on foreign policy and European integration approved the consultative opinion on the opening of negotiations on an agreement in this regard.

The funds will be used to finance the needs of the state budget. The money will be used to promote sustainable growth through increased competition and private sector-led growth, to strengthen the resilience of refugees and households, to support climate resilience and the transition to green energy.

The loan will be offered for a period of ten years. After the signing of the document, the Parliament will examine the draft ratification.
