The Netherlands to further support Moldova on European path by supporting strengthening of democratic institutions, economic development

Chisinau, July 8 /MOLDPRES/- The Netherlands will continue to support the Republic of Moldova on European path by supporting the strengthening of democratic institutions and economic development. Caspar Veldkamp, the new foreign minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands made the statements at a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi in Chisinau.

Popșoi congratulated Caspar Veldkamp on his appointment as minister. The two officials discussed further close cooperation between Moldova and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

"We agreed to boost our joint efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and develop projects of common interest for both countries", Popșoi said.

For his part, Caspar Veldkamp noted that the Netherlands will further support the Republic of Moldova in European path, by supporting the strengthening of democratic institutions and economic development.
