Moldovan government expands public sector job opportunities

Chisinau, Aug 21 /MOLDPRES/- From January 1, 2025, candidates who have been admitted to the competitions for public positions in state institutions but are outside the country will be able to take the written exam remotely through embassies or diplomatic missions. The new provision will apply only to candidates admitted for vacancies in ministries, the State Chancellery, the President's Office and the Parliament Secretariat, the government's communication department has reported.

The cabinet approved a decision to this effect today. The new changes will contribute to the development of an attractive public service with professional civil servants oriented to citizens' needs.

At the same time, the procedure for assessing the work of a new civil servant will be simplified and more job opportunities will be created for young specialists in positions that do not require professional experience.
