Moldovan electoral body receives documents for registration of candidate for Moldova's president office

Chisinau, 6 September /MOLDPRES/- The members of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today received the subscription lists for the support of the candidate for the office of Moldova’s president, Maia Sandu, nominated by the Political Party, Action and Solidarity Party (PAS).   

Under the legislation, CEC is to make the verification of the documents and subscription lists during seven days.

So far, CEC has approved the registration of Alexandr Stoianoglo as candidate for the office of Moldova’s president. He was nominated by the Moldovan Party of Socialists.
